My 2nd black box.

I had redo my black box because my previous black box does not full fill Mr. Wan requirement which the box have to follow the balloon to fly to the sky. Seems my previous black box is quite heavy and big, I decided to do a lighter, smaller and easy to carry.

Theatrette

Last Monday, we had produced our theatrette in the ground floor behind the E48B lecture hall. We have to present our theatrette within 3 minutes. My group name is Best Mix, the motto is To Be Best and our theme is Merdeka Freedom. My part is ready the musics. Before that, Mr. Wan had given us a theatrette exercises like scream, breathe, vanish, animate, small, big, angry, sad, happy and free. Our performance have to include form, space, time, entry and exit. Besides that, we have to involve our BST, sarong, masks and black box for our theatrette. Besides that, we have to submit our work in powerpoint form and video clip by Monday.

4 Urbanity

For this time, we are assigned to study Penang Time Square and surrounds including space, form, nodes and paths. Besides that, we had to study how the countdown may be executed there as well. We had to suggest, how we use our masks and BST during that day (National Day - 31 August 2010). We had to present our work in presentation and report in A4 size paper. On Friday afternoon, we went to Penang Times Square by bus. My group consists of yeelin, wanting, engsing, siew bee and yousheng. For the first time we go there, we worried we will get lost. Luckily, we met 3 kind-hearted aunties to point out which bus station we need to stop. Besides that, there are also have 2 kind-hearted saleswomen in sunshine supermarket in Times Square there to point out how can we go to the place. Thanks those aunties and saleswomen very much!

Sketching Convo 2010 scene.

We are assigned to sketch the convo scene. I decided to draw the 'graduated' bear. Firstly, we had to take the picture at convo place. We had to follow the Golden Section rule to take the picture. I had took many pictures, lastly i took this as my sketch.

3C: 6BBBB

We are assigned to design and build a black bamboo box. Inside the black box, we have to put 6 standard size helium balloons and will be released during the Merdeka Countdown in Penang Times Square. There is no part of the balloon is exposed, and all the balloons must be released by box owner one at a time. Once again, we have to find and cut the bamboo by ourselves.

3B: My Black Box

For this assignment, we were assigned to design a 'black box' which is use to put our all necessaries when the 2012 disaster is coming. Therefore, I had designed some black boxes and I chose my favorite one. There are some pictures for my 'black box'.

3A: Casket4Me

This is a quite interesting assignment that given by our creative lecturer, draw a casket for ourselves. As a chinese, this is a very unlucky thing. However, I have to do also. I am a quite traditional thinker, so I designed a chinese traditional casket that is made of bamboo. There are some pictures for my future casket.

2D: Sarong

For this task, we were assigned to sketch out the storyline from Dr. Illias last week. Today, there were 6 students that separated into 2 groups to act out the story. We had to sketch out the story into 10 pieces of A3 paper.
